Blackberry is serious about promoting the hell out of their new phones Bold and Storm. Recently, a Blackberry Bold party was held in New York, and another one for the Storm in Los Angeles and now Hollywood is having its crack at celebrating the Bold. This is insane. This evening, my toaster is throwing a Halloween party. The whole world’s gone mad!

Stacy Keibler was also there and she’s so statuesque and gorgeous that I kind of assumed she could never wear a bad outfit, but what is up with the hat? Same goes for Kate Walsh. Are these otherwise aesthetically gifted women trying to make me feel better about myself? It’s working.

When soccer star David Beckham was asked by the mag how he felt about his status as the “gayest straight man in Britain and the blackest white man.”

In response, “Yes, I like that. When someone said that about me, it made me laugh and I was quite proud of it.” Huh? I could see the gay thing but black? I can’t figure out what stereotype they’re implying here. That he’s an ass man?

Today’s Recapist Highlight: The Office

In the pre-credit sequence, we get to see how the Scranton crew celebrated Halloween. The opening shot of Stanley sitting in a Creature from the Black Lagoon mask made the episode for me. Phyllis made an adorable Raggedy Ann and no one should be surprised that Kelly dressed as Carrie Bradshaw from “Sex and the City.” Kelly couldn’t believe that Stanley wore a costume as he “hated” Halloween. Phyllis informed her that he wore the mask so he could sleep at his desk. Kelly was having trouble walking in her Carrie-esque heels and asked Phyllis to help her walk to her desk. Ryan stepped in, he gladly volunteered and told Kelly she looked “amazing.” Kelly didn’t recognize who Ryan was supposed to be and he told her he was Gordon Gekko, Michael Douglas’ character from “Wall Street” (how obscure, but how totally Ryan) and Kelly said “Oh, like on the insurance commercials.”

While other celebrity chicks are slutting it up for Halloween, Kate Moss is staying true to the holiday’s roots by flying to L.A. and scaring the bejeezus out of Angelenos with her natural looks. Keep in mind that Moss is a) only 34 years old and b) earns millions of dollars every year based solely on the fact that she’s supposed to be good-looking. Guess these are the results of lifetime spent slamming heroin directly into your eyeballs and hoovering up so much coke that your septum has more holes than the single-bullet theory. If this is the standard for supermodels these days then Abe Vigoda might as well throw on a pair of silk panties and pasties and hit up Calvin Klein for a contract. On the plus side, America’s economic crisis doesn’t seem nearly as scary compared to the fact that, if you’re a male, you’ve probably had a sexual fantasy about this monstrosity sometime within the last few years. Yeah, I know; it’s no king-size Snickers bar, but times are tough everywhere. Now get off my porch!

At the LAX airport, Kate Hudson was greeted by a gang of paparazzi who almost appear to have jumped out from behind somewhere and yelled “Trick or Treat!” at the Fool’s Gold actress from the look on her face.

Hudson was looking quite drab in her cheerless outfit this holiday season, unlike some celebs we know. I understand Kate is traveling and probably not interested in dressing up and the last thing she feels like doing is smiling for the photographers, but if she’s not careful, her face might stick like that.

Hopefully, it was a pool party. And hopefully that ball and chain was fairly realistic. And hopefully, someone accidentally pushed his cheesy ass into the pool. And hopefully she got pulled in after him. Halloween is a time for hope.

Here’s closet heterosexual Lindsay Lohan looking properly ghostly and goth (did she coordinate outfits with Mena Suvari?) at Fearnet’s 2nd Anniversary Party last night at the Cellar Bar in the Bryant Park Hotel. Does I Know Who Killed Me count as a horror film? Isn’t something you play drinking games to? Do a shot whenever she drops the f-bomb. Anyway, let’s face it. She ain’t busy and is making sure she gets the exposure. She’s going to be calling Powerball numbers next after your local news.

Good news for her, though. A man named David Kim was suing Lohan for $55,000 for VIP security services that he claimed he provided for her and was never paid for. He has now formally dropped the suit, for an unspecified reason. Dina probably called and cursed him out.

Lohan claimed all along that she had never even met the man, let alone hired him to protect her.

So, she’s cleared of cleared of fraud, intentional infliction of emotional distress, breach
of oral contract and a whole lotta state labor violations. It doesn’t seem like she took it too seriously. Lohan’s legal eagles didn’t even show up in court on Tuesday for the formalities.

Okay, last one. (For today.) Here’s Kendra Wilkinson at Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon’s Halloween party in Manhattan last night. I have no idea what she’s supposed to be, but who the hell cares look at that butt. In the meantime, I should probably start finding out what’s happening in the real world. Al Qaeda could’ve blown up Tom Cruise, Britney Spears and Paris Hilton, and the only thing I’d have to say for myself is “Kim Kardashian dressed up like Wonder Woman.” Because I kick ass!
